The Maran Concept is based in the premise that an industrial facility must satisfy each and every need a client could have regarding production, distribution, safety and office space.

From Soil Prep to the finished building, Maran works closely with the client in order to leave no request unanswered or need unattended.

Maran buildings are built tough and are specially designed to withstand Mexicali’s extreme climatic conditions. Building features include:

All of Maran’s buildings are carefully engineered to withstand the day to day requirements of industrial use. We start by stabilizing the expansive clay ground that is typical of Mexicali. Due to these characteristics, Maran removes the clay base on all of its buildings and replaces it with an inert material that is not prone to major expansions and contractions when exposed to moisture.

It is our philosophy to use the best base materials available to produceoptimal performance floors in all buildings. Contrary to popular belief, no matter how thick and reinforced the slab is, it will definitely crack if the soil is unstable.

Maran buildings come with 24 ga Standing Insulated Seam Roof (R-19), with no exposed fasteners (as opposed to corrugated metal roofs).

In extreme climates such as Mexicali’s, the exposed fasteners used on attaching corrugated Stand Roof deteriorates due to 2 factors: (1) The neoprene washer fails and becomes brittle and
(2) the expansion and contraction of the roof/structure allows for the fastener holes to elongate, creating continuous leak problems.

Stand Roof (SSR) system uses no exposed fasteners and securely attaches the roof to the structure utilizing a sliding clip system that accommodates the different rates of contraction and expansion of the roof.

Maran’s Ashford sealer (urethane based, no-maintenance) increases its shine with wear, does not need recoating and provides a non-slippery finish.

These are provided as standard equipment on all Maran buildings to assist maintenance personnel in the supervision of roof mounted equipment such as HVAC and communications, as well as flues, etc.

Additionally, the roof is not damaged by normal traffic and provides a safe, stable platform to access the roof service areas. Safety ladders are providedin the buildings with winches to hoist maintenance parts to the rooftop.

The client can specify the specific needs it has so they can be worked outin the general construction plan. Future additions can also be possible andcan be planned beforehand to create an integral expansion calendar. This gives the client the ability to grow strategically.
