The MARAN Industrial Park as the mainstay of the MARAN Group, is today an important part of the Mexicali industrial community on which several multinational companies have installed their operations such as: MITSUBISHI Electronics big screen television set, NEWELL RUBBERMAID, (Sanford, Sharpie and papermate writing instruments brands), NASSCO or GENERAL DYNAMICS ( small and big components for ships,) INVENSYS CONTROLS ( They make different kind of controls for boilers) HONEYWELL ( they make safety helmets, first aid boxes, bandages) NFS - MECALUX ( They produce racks for warehouses) and SKB ( They produce cases for music instruments) among others. These companies offer more than 7,500 direct jobs and about 2.2 million square feet in service in buildings alone.
